Worship the Lord in giving

22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learnto revere the Lord your God always.  Deuteronomy 14:22-23 NIV

Where does the money go?

Great Question!  We strive for transparency so this question is always welcome.  We follow a simple budget  which allocates 25% to Local Outreach, 25% to Buildings and Property, 25% to Budgets and Internal ministry expenses (bible study curriculum, etc.) and 25% to the Pastor Salary.  Anyone can request a financial statement from the church at any given time.

Local Outreach

In addition to the 25% allocation of money received towards local outreach, anyone can designate part or all of their offering to "compassionate ministries."  If money is designated, for compassionate ministries, it will go 100% to local outreach.  We provide a variety of local outreaches, including but not limited to providing food to the HERO teen center, providing food and personal needs for local families, paying utility bills, car repairs and many other spiritual and physical needs.

Budgets and Internal Ministry

We pay a 14% budget to the denominational district, this covers many things, the biggest of which is Global Missions, through the World Evangelism Fund.  Our internal ministries are usually bible study curriculum, and other supplies such as communion, and Sunday school supplies.
