My name is Reverend Russell Greer. My wife and I were raised in Hartland, MI. We are both graduates of Hartland High School, I graduated in 1994 and my wife in 1996. We’ve been married for twenty years and have four handsome boys, Garrison (16), Zaine (7), Rylan (5) Dexton (3) and one beautiful daughter Isla (1). In 2000 we moved to Colorado Springs, CO where we lived for six years and I received my Bachelors Degree in Pastoral Ministries from Nazarene Bible College. While in school I engaged in local ministries and Army Chaplaincy at Fort Carson, CO. Upon graduation we moved home to Michigan where I ministered at Fowlerville Church of the Nazarene as their Associate Pastor of Young Families and continued in Army Chaplaincy for a local reserve unit. During that time I graduated from Army Chaplain School at Fort Jackson, SC and received my Masters of Divinity, Chaplaincy from Liberty University. Currently I serve as a Substitute teacher in the Hartland area and as the Chaplain for the Hartland Area Fire Authority. The Lord placed a call on our hearts to plant a church in Hartland, MI four years ago. We are excited to see this call being answered in God’s timing. Our hope for the future is to be part of God’s plan in seeing the Hartland Community transformed in Christ. We are excited to see what God’s plan is for Hartland Community Chapel, a church of the Nazarene.
